By downloading or using VAS CERT ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Summit Systems, LLC ("Summit Systems," "we," "us," or "our").
VAS CERT is intended for healthcare professionals and adults aged 18 and older. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
VAS CERT is a study and exam preparation tool for educational purposes only. The App:
Question content is authored for study purposes. Always refer to official certification body materials, peer-reviewed literature, and your institution's clinical guidelines for authoritative guidance on patient care.
Summit Systems grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use VAS CERT on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial study purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or sublicense any portion of the App.
All content in VAS CERT — including question text, explanations, and application code — is the property of Summit Systems, LLC or its content licensors, and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute app content without written permission.
VAS CERT is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of content. Summit Systems does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of inaccuracies.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Summit Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to failure to pass a certification exam, reliance on App content for clinical decisions, or loss of data.
Summit Systems' total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
VAS CERT uses Apple's iCloud and notification services. Your use of those services is subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Summit Systems is not responsible for the availability or terms of third-party services.
We may update VAS CERT, add or remove question content, or modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last Updated" date when we make material changes. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may stop using VAS CERT at any time by deleting the App. Summit Systems may suspend or terminate your access to the App at its sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to Summit Systems or other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
